Physical Therapy: Admissions Criteria
- A minimum of 80 semester credits from a CHEA regionally accredited college/university (At least
9 semester credits must be completed at a 4-year college at the Junior or Senior level.)
- A minimum, cumulative undergraduate Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Graduate Records Examination (General G.R.E.) score report – Use Institutional Code 2534
- A minimum of 50 hours of clinical experience in a Physical Therapy setting - at least 25 hours of the volunteer/paid work in physical therapy must be in a Physical Therapy department in a hospital (in-patient).
- Two Letters of recommendation - one from a college science professor and one from a physical therapist.
- A grade of “C” or better in the following prerequisite courses:

Note: Minimum grade of “B” preferred in all science prerequisite courses. Only science courses designed for science majors are acceptable.
