Working at Winthrop University Hospital allowed me
to see the residents from various medical schools, mostly from the
New York Area. Over the course of my 2 1/2 years there, it became
obvious that the students from Downstate were the most confident,
assured and prepared. Downstate Alumni, doctors, nurses and P.A.’s
praised it and all said the clinical experience opportunities at
King’s County were unparalleled. It’s proximity to the
city and to my house was also a big factor in choosing Downstate."
