STRENGTHS: Strong clinical exposure, diverse array of pathology reflecting cultural diversity of the community served. Developing cultural awareness in treating patients of different backgrounds. Strong teaching faculty in basic science years. Financial support in the form of awards and scholarships. Excellent opportunity to undertake electives in developing countries during 4th year.

STRENGTHS: The availability of attendings to teach and discuss cases. The broad spectrum of diseases that ranged from commonplace to rare. The opportunity for hands on learning."

STRENGTHS: The strengths were in the 3rd year during our rotations thru KCH & UHB. The hands-on experience here is much greater than other places as well as the diverse pathology of the cases.
LIKED BEST: The tuition here is much lower here than other schools for a comparable education."

LIKED BEST: I can count on SUNY Downstate to look out for me. All the faculty and staff try very hard to help me get to my goal. People are very friendly, nice and supportive. They were able to get their students through all kinds of crisis."
