Accelerated Nursing: Admissions Criteria
- A baccalaureate degree in another discipline from a CHEA regionally accredited college or university
- A minimum undergraduate cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- A grade of “C” or better in the following prerequisite courses:

PLEASE NOTE: All prerequisite science courses must have been completed within the past seven years of the date expected entry into the program.
4. Required Pre-entrance Exam
- Nurse Entrance Test (NET)
- The NET assesses (1) basic science reading comprehension, (2) math skills, and (3) written expression (grammar).
- Register for the NET, using one of the following options:

- call Educational Resources, Inc. at 1 (800) 299-EXAM, 8am – 5pm Central Standard Time (CST) and ask for Customer Service Center.
- On the Web:
- Pay the registration fee with a credit or debit card.
- The minimum acceptable passing score for the MATH component is 65%.
- The minimum acceptable passing score for the Science Reading component is 60%.
- Both components must be passed for the applicant to be considered for admission
- An applicant may re-take the test once within an admission/application cycle. A second registration will be required.
