National Health Service Corps Scholarship Corps

A program of the Federal Health Resources and Services Administration's Bureau of Primary Health Care, the National Health Service Corps assists in the development, recruitment and retention of health care professionals dedicated to serving communities that lack adequate access to primary health care. There are a variety of programs available to many disciplines of study including:

  • Allopathic and Osteopathic Physicians with specialties in Family Medicine, General Pediatrics, General Internal Medicine, General Psychiatry, and Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Nurse Practitioners
  • Certified Nurse Midwives
  • Physician Assistants
  • Psychiatric Nurse Specialists
