Federal Aid - Pell Grant

Pell Grants are for undergraduate students, eligibility as determined by a standard formula. If you remain eligible, you may continue to receive a Pell Grant until you complete your first bachelor's degree. Federal Pell Grants are prorated for students enrolled for less than full-time study.

You may apply for a Pell Grant by using the FAFSA. If you released the information to SUNY DMC, the Office of Financial Aid will receive an electronic copy of your SAR, called an ISIR. The Office of Financial Aid is required to verify the information on the ISIR against other information it may have. If discrepancies are found, they must be resolved before payment can be made.
