What if I have a Health Hold?
If you have not completed all required documentation for Health Clearance, a Health Hold will be placed on your student record and you will not be able to register. You will need to satisfy the missing requirement(s) before you may register for classes. If you have questions about your Health Hold, call the Office of Student Health (718-270-1995).
What if I have an Admissions Hold?
If you have not yet submitted all required documentation to the Office of Student Admissions, you must submit these documents as soon as possible. You will receive a separate communication from the Office of Student Admissions notifying you of your outstanding requirements. Although an Admissions Hold will be placed on your student record, it will not prevent you from registering during the pre-registration period. If you have any questions about what requirements you have remaining, contact the Office of Student Admissions (718-270-2446 or admissions@downstate.edu).
