Housing Application for Incoming Students

Housing applications, as well as room rates, are mailed to students with their admissions package upon acceptance to SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

All SUNY Downstate students are eligible to live in the residence halls including medical, nursing, and graduate students, and students in the Masters of Public Heath program and the College of Health Related Professions.

The proximity of the residence halls to the hospital, the Basic Science Building and the library will help you succeed at Downstate by providing you with more time to focus on academics. In addition to being convenient, the residence halls are clean, safe, and fun and are located directly across from the Student Center.

Please do not hesitate to contact our office at (718) 270-1466 to arrange a tour of the residence halls or e-mail us at residentiallife@downstate.edu if you have any questions about on campus living. We would be happy to show you around and answer any questions you may have about life in the residence halls.
