Academic Attire

Degree candidates who wish to participate in the Commencement Exercises are required to wear academic attire and to march with members of the faculty and honored guests in the academic procession.  Information for ordering attire is included with this booklet.

Academic Attire will be distributed in Classroom 1A on:

  1. Wednesday, May 14, 2008 from 5:00–7:30 pm
  2. Thursday, May 15, 2008 from 3:00–6:00 pm

You must bring your student ID card, fill out information for the professional photographer, and hand in your mailbox key (if you received one).  If you have lost your key, you will need to go to the Bursar’s office and pay a $20 replacement fee.  Please empty your campus mailbox before you hand in your key. (If you are graduating in August 2008 or December 2008, you will return your mailbox key and student ID when picking up your diploma.)

Once you complete the process, you will be given a receipt to pick up your attire.  This is also a great opportunity to ask any questions regarding Commencement. 

Please note: Academic attire will not be available for pick up after the Commencement Exercises.
