Academic Attire

Graduation candidates who wish to participate in Commencement are required to wear academic attire and to march with members of the faculty, trustees and honored guests in the academic procession.  Information for ordering attire is included with this booklet.

Academic Attire will be distributed in the lobby of 811 New York Avenue on Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 11:30 am until 2:30 pm. 

Please note: Academic attire will not be available for pick up after the Commencement Exercises.

You must:

  1. bring your student I.D. card;
  2. fill out information for the professional photographer and the Alumni Association; and
  3. hand in your mailbox key.  If you have lost your key you will need to go to the Bursar’s Office and pay a $20 replacement fee. Please empty your campus mailbox before you hand in your key.

Once you complete the process you will be given a receipt to pick up your attire.  This is also a great opportunity to ask any questions regarding Commencement.
