Downstate Medical Journal Club

The Downstate Medical Journal Club provides an opportunity of all students in the health professions to participate in active dialogue about current topics in medical research. Our mission is to provide a relaxed environment for continued learning based on the School of Medicine's block system. Meetings are held with an attending physician specializing in each organ system studied. Students are encouraged to inquire about research opportunities. The discussion is focused on a clinically relevant research article chosen by our members in partnership with guest speakers.
